The Great Deku Tree! This is my tribute to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Legend of Zelda series. I’m very excited for the upcoming live-action movie and remake of The Ocarina of Time. This was a game that actively shaped my imagination and put me on a collision course with the video game industry. I’ve always loved the Great Deku Tree character, and I wanted to do this more realistic and modern interpretation; the version of him that I dreamed of while playing the N64 original. Had a lot of fun taking a detour from the darker works I tend to gravitate towards, and great to explore fantasy again after years of working on sci-fi!
